John Redmond Tournament
May 31

We started our tournament with light showers that lifted quickly.
The sun came out and we had a great day. Lake conditions were
poor. It was 12 foot above normal and they started opening gates
16 hours before the tournament, and continued discharging
throughout the tournament. Fish were touchy and light to the
bite. An assortment of baits were used throughout the teams.

The greatest thing about this tournament that I saw was not the
amount of fish or the biggest fish, but what a truly outstanding
group of fishermen that attended. Before the tournament, they
were helping one another with boat repairs, finding bait,
swapping bait, helping each other load and unload boats, let them
use fish finders and portable live wells. All team players.
